Evita De Vera-Puhawan graduated from a reputable university in the Philippines in2003, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and has also completed her Diploma on Early Childhood Education. She is currently the Academic Coordinator of Kiddie Planet, A Montessori Plus Preschool located in Sunter, Jakarta. She has more than 16 years of experience as an educator from Kingdom of Bahrain, Qatar, Indonesia and Philippines. Evita is a passionate teacher and leader who believe that each child needs a kind, loving, caring and motivating adult who will help them to reach their maximum potential.
Evita is also an active member of Toastmasters International, a non-profit organization developing public speaking and leadership skills through practice and feedback. She has represented Indonesia during the District Contest in 2017 for Humorous Speech and Evaluation Contests in Sibu, Malaysia and won the 2nd and 3 rd place respectively.
Evita enjoys working with children and believes in the importance of teaching and leading with a heart. She also believes in the importance of connecting with her students and communicating well with them. She shares her knowledge and experiences with her teachers and staff through different team building activities and workshops. She also spends her free time volunteering in the church and mentoring public speakers.
